The Aquatics Center is open seasonally every year from the Saturday following Memorial Day to the first Saturday of August. It’s open from 12pm-8pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1pm-8pm on Sundays. The Aquatics Center is closed for cleaning and private rentals on Mondays.

Entry is $5 per person 3 years or older. Children ages 2 and under swim free but swim diapers are MANDATORY at all times.

Children 11 and under must always be accompanied by a guardian. Ages 12 and up may be at the park on their own.

Lockers are available for day rental at $5, and $1 will be returned upon return of the locker key. There are no time limits on lockers.

The Aquatics Center does not carry towels. Please bring your own.

Chairs are dotted around the pool at no cost. Pavilions are available for private rental at $25 per hour at a 2-hour minimum. To rent, a $25 deposit must be paid in person at the Big Spring Visitor Center, located at 113 E. 3rd Street.

Private renting of the Aquatics Center is available at $200 per hour at a 2-hour minimum. To rent, a $200 cleaning deposit must be paid in person at the Big Spring Visitor Center, located at 113 E. 3rd Street.

Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times with a manager overseeing them. First aid is available at the front of the park. Please inform staff if you bleed into the pool.

The Aquatics Center has two slides. To ride the tube slide, riders must be 48’’ or taller. To ride the run-up slide, riders must be 52’’ or taller.

Yes, flotation tubes are provided at the park in single and dual rider versions. Outside flotation devices are not permitted unless it is a life jacket or a tube for a small child.

The concession stand is stocked with nachos, hot dogs, soft pretzels, fountain drinks, chips, cookies, and candy. 

People who rent pavilions are permitted to bring cake or cupcakes for parties. All other outside food or drink is prohibited.
